The required infrastructure is standard:
PC+LCD projector, white board, collar mike, and AC hall with enough seating
capacity. So, a Seminar room (with LCD/PC/Whiteboard) can be booked for the
course at the chosen place.
We will send you the course notes to
your office, one week in advance. You need to make enough photocopies of course
notes, circulate these to participants before the course starts.
We bring the rest: laptops, software and any demo kit for our lectures.
A couple of (nice!) hotel rooms should be reserved for us, if course is
conducted away from Mumbai. Also, all travel charges for us are to be borne by
you (i.e., travel and local hospitality for course faculty is at your cost).
In our courses, we generally present theory (for practicing engineers) + some simulations. Normally, we do not include any lab sessions (except computer lab) as the lab logistics are quite different. However, if you are keen on including a related lab course or hands-on, we are open to the suggestions. The logistics of having a lab course will depend on number of users and expts/kits available.
Please note that (for a five day or longer course), we will conduct an objective type written test for about 30mins to 1 hour.
Once CEP office at IIT Bombay approves the course , they will contact you for further processing of proforma invoice etc.
