About me

I am a Research Associate at Systems and Control Engineering, IIT Bombay, India, and working with Prof. Debasish Chatterjee. I studied stochastic model predictive control (MPC) under the settings of (possibly) unbounded disturbances and hard constraints on control actions. I extended this framework for networked systems under the supervision of Prof. Daniel E. Quevedo and we gradually developed a provably stabilizing and tractable framework that incorporates estimation, control and communication co-design under intermittent observations and unreliable actions.

My research proposal on stochastic predictive control over networks has received funding from Swiss federation for the session 2017-18 to work with Prof. Colin N. Jones at EPFL, Switzerland. Under his supervision I studied a problem of reference tracking stochastic MPC.

My research interests include

  • Model predictive control for stochastic system
  • Control and estimation under packet dropouts
  • Dynamic programming
  • Gaussian process based reinforcement learning
  • Event-triggered control
