Texts & Readings in Control, Optimization, and Data Science is a series meant for the benefit of advanced undergraduate and graduate students and early career researchers in the broad areas of control, decision and data sciences, inclusive of signal processing. The individual volumes are consequently pedagogical in their outlook. Specifically, they are systematic expositions of the broad fundamentals that constitute the basis of much contemporary research but are difficult to find under one head.

Texts & Readings in Control, Optimization, and Data Science consists of dedicated and nuanced efforts to make such foundational technical material available to advanced undergraduate and graduate students. They are not intended to be surrogates of texts for standard courses, but are augmentations thereof, or the next steps that form a bridge between them and active research.

Most of these titles cover contemporary technical material typically presented in research articles and advanced monographs by making it accessible to students, thus ensuring a wide outreach while maintaining high standards of rigor.
