I am currently an Associate Professor at Systems and Control Engg., IIT Bombay.

I completed my PhD in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at The University of Texas, Austin in May, 2011.

My research expertise is in Nonlinear and Adaptive Control with emphasis on Non-Autonomous Controller and Observer Design. Applications include Spacecraft Navigation and Control, Robotics, Autonomous Vehicle Design.

My current areas of interest are decentralized control, cooperative and networked control, hybrid systems with applications to power systems, formation flight and consensus.

My PhD dissertation supervisor was Dr. M. R. Akella. My graduate research involved design of feedback controllers and observers for finite-dimensional dynamical systems with singular, time-varying control or output gains.

I was a visiting Max Planck Fellow in the Control Systems Group (Fachgebiet Regelungssysteme) at TU Berlin from 2015-2018.
