| VSS 2012 Submission Policies |
- All manuscripts submitted to the VSS 2012, either for review or publication upon acceptance, must be written in English on A4 paper size.
- All manuscripts must be formatted in the standard 2-column format provided on PaperPlaza
- The number of pages in the manuscript for the review or publicationn purpose is limited to 6-pages.
- The decision regarding the acceptance of each paper is at the discretion of the Conference Program Committee.
- All manuscripts must be submitted through the Submission site
- Only PDF files with a maximum of 2MB file size are accepted.
- In case of any difficuilty in using the submission site please contact the organizing committee at "vss2012@sc.iitb.ac.in".
All papers are to be submitted electronically using the Submission System.

| Creating IEEE Xplore Compatible PDF |
- The procedures for creating IEEE Xplore compatible manuscripts is extensively described at PaperPlaza
- The users of LaTeX can use the IEEEconf.cls class file. Both the class file and a sample file is availabe as IEEEconf.zip
- The users of MS Word can use the template IEEEconf_a4.dot file and a sample document sample_A4.doc.

| Using IEEE PDF eXpress (for compatibility test of PDF file and final submission) |
- Visit the webpage at IEEE PDF eXpress.
- Use the conference id "vss12wkx" to set up the account.
- Submit your ".ps" file for conversion to pdf or submit your pdf file for compatibility check.
- Upload the final version of your file to the Submission System before December 7, 2011.
